Next completed a major refurbishment project at the Revesby Workers Club with all works undertaken while the Club remained operational.
The design and construct project comprised refurbishment of 1650 square metres of the “central spine” on Level 1 of the Club including the demolition of current facilities in the area.
Works were undertaken in two stages. Stage 1 of the project involved the refurbishment of the Upper Lounge, new café and bar areas with Stage 2 delivering a new Business Lounge and function rooms.
A new balustrade was installed around the main entry escalator void and new loose furniture supplied for the various lounge and function areas. In addition, the project team managed the installation of audio visual and new kitchen and bar equipment supporting the offerings of the Club.
With construction adjacent to several key functions of the Club, the project team’s focus ensured minimal disruption to Club activities by providing a well-managed, efficient site particularly with regard to noise and materials handling.
