Next delivered ahead of schedule a highly detailed fitout for Culture Kings latest store located in Western Sydney enabling the world famous streetwear retailer to commence early trading in the lead up Christmas.

The Parramatta store is Culture Kings largest store comprising a total of 2850 square metres including 950 square metres of retail trading floor and 1900 square metres of backof-house for bulk storage.

The project involved the fitout of the ground floor foyer and the first floor retail space, which required major structural upgrading. A large structural steel frame was installed to support the large circular LED screen, which is visible from all areas of the retail space.

Also installed were several LED screen “shoe wall” display cases and a new state-of-the-art speaker system for the in-store DJ booth. An upgrade to the electrical services to support the LED screens was an integral part of the fitout.

Other major features of the project include the fitout of the in-store barbershop and bar; the in-store custom-made basketball court complete with 18-k gold net; and the installation of the “CK Holy Grails” machine, which contains a number of rare sneakers.

Next also managed the manufacture and installation of bespoke display components commissioned by the client including a custom-made jewellery display case and point of sale counter.
