Next completed the refurbishment and fitout of this well-known dining establishment on the heritage Woolloomooloo Finger Wharf, for repeat client, Australian Venue Co (AVC).

The Kingsleys project follows from the successful delivery of AVC’s Sydney venues, 12-Micron in Barangaroo and Cargo Bar and Bungalow 8 on King Street Wharf.

Kingsleys comprises 500 square metres over two levels and construction works were completed in two stages to enable the restaurant to continue trading.

A major undertaking of the refurbishment involved the structural infill of the existing void between the restaurant’s two levels to increase the seating capacity of the venue and provide for an additional bar area.

Additional scope of works included the upgrade to existing services including new electrical and mechanical services. Fixtures and finishes included new bars on both levels, cedar timber featured ceilings, detailed metal wall paneling trimmed with framed with stained ash timber, new light fittings, bespoke leather banquettes and stained timber floors with accents of blue to embrace the restaurant’s harbor side location.

Next with its established relationships with leading suppliers and subcontractors ensured the project was delivered to the highest quality.
