Next successfully delivered this mixed-use residential development defect free and 47 days ahead of contract program. Platino Properties is a valued repeat client and they have set a new standard for high-end inner-city apartment living with this project.

The Edge Ultimo takes cues from the 19th century warehouses along Wattle Street with its contemporary expression of traditional building elements. The development consists of 41 one, two and three bedroom units and has superior finishes and fittings. Seven of the apartments are double storey penthouses. The complex also includes ground floor retail shops, secure basement parking.

Next’s major project challenge was associated with the boundary to boundary construction and the site location on a main, high capacity road. To ensure program was maintained the project team developed a detailed materials management plan and erected scaffolding decks within the building void to store materials for loading to the various floors.

Next also redesigned building services to resolve latent building conditions, which included redundant fuel lines discovered in the basement.
