The Jade Residences comprise 70 apartments across two low-rise buildings of five storeys. The apartments include 18 double storey ground floor units and 52 one, two and three bedrooom units over the upper levels. The two buildings are positioned above a common basement car park.

A benchmark in innovative design, construction of the development was challenging. The double storey apartments featured mezzanine levels and were built with ceiling heights of six metres and a 25 mm ceiling void for concealed mechanical and electrical components.

With such lofty ceiling requirements for the apartments a light weight, recyclable party wall solution was recommended. The speed wall system chosen featured a unique tongue and groove system with top and bottom racks, which translated to a quick installation as well as having excellent accoustic properties.

High-end finishes and fixtures were used throughout the apartments and included commercial grade window systems with exceptional accoustic and thermal qualities providing for light filled spaces and enhanced indoor/outdoor living area.

The facade for the development displays a combination of face brick and render. A striking feature is the copper-coloured metal cladding on the roof eaves of both buildings.
